Felix and Sage Psychology are a high quality private billing clinic. Our consultation fees are substantially lower than those set out in the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Schedule of Recommended Fees and full payment is expected at the time of visit. We also offer some bulk billing psychologist and accredited mental health social worker appointments, subject to the conditions set out below.

Available Rebates
Medicare
• Up to 10 session per calendar year. A review is conducted by your GP or specialist who referred you after the first 6 sessions to assess if you
eligible for a further 4 sessions
• Psychologist Rebate $86.15
• Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Rebate $75.95

Private Health Insurance
• You may be eligible to claim a rebate through your Private Health Insurer, however you cannot claim a Medicare rebate for the same session.
• Please speak to your heath insurance provider for more information on possible rebates and how you are able to claim these.
Private (Non-Medicare) clients, DVA, Workcover, TAC, Victims of Crime (VOCAT) and NDIS (self-managed or plan-managed) clients are all welcome. Please advise our friendly reception staff when making your appointment as not all of our psychologists are registered for these services.
Please ensure you read our cancellation policy prior to booking your appointment.
At Felix and Sage, we value your time as well as that of our Psychologists. We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment without incurring additional fees. This policy is in place to allow us time to offer the appointment to another client who may be on our cancellation or waiting list. Like our consultation fees, our cancellation policy is also substantially less than the guidelines set out by the APS.
We do understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment due to sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. In these circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation so that we can make alternative arrangements . In some situations, we may request that you provide us with a medical certificate.
